If you reside in Multan and wish to apply for a new MEPCO connection, you can easily do so by filling out an online application form. MEPCO New Connection Application Process

To apply for a new electricity meter connection with MEPCO, visit the ENC system or the online application portal. The MEPCO new connection application process involves five main steps, each with its sub-steps.

Ensure you fill out all the required fields accurately, as providing incorrect information may lead to application rejection. Before you apply for a new connection, please prepare the following documents:

  1. A copy of the MEPCO electricity bill from a neighbor
  2. Proof of property ownership
  3. An attested copy of your CNIC
  4. An attested copy of a witness's CNIC
  5. The wiring contractor’s test report for your house

MEPCO New Connection Application Steps

        1. Access the ENC Online Application Portal
            Open the ENC portal on your computer.

2. Click on the “Apply” Button
Find and click the "Apply" button on the homepage.

3. Enter Neighbor’s Reference Number
Input your neighbor’s reference number in the required field. This will automatically fill in other
fields such as the neighbor's name, address, distribution company name, and corresponding
subdivision name and code.

4. Select Load Details
Choose the appropriate load details based on your needs. For domestic connections, select 5
KW; for industrial or commercial connections, choose a load above 5 KW.

5. Choose Connection Type
If applying for a residential connection, select “Domestic.” For commercial, agricultural, or
industrial connections, choose the relevant option.

6. Specify Your Status
           If you live in a rental property, select “Tenant”; if you own the property, choose “Landlord.”

7. Provide Personal Information
Enter your full name with correct spellings, and then your father's or husband's name.

8. Indicate Citizenship
If you are Pakistani, select the first option and proceed to enter your CNIC number and address.

9.Input Mobile Numbers
Fill in your personal mobile number in the first field and another mobile number, possibly that of
your father or husband, in the second.

10.Provide Contact Details
If you are the person applying for the new connection, select "same as above" to auto-fill the
fields with your information.

11. Enter Premises Details
If you already have an electricity meter installed, mention it; otherwise, enter "0."

12. Specify Load Requirement
Indicate the desired load for your new connection and mention the address where you want
the new meter installed.

16. List Appliances
Specify the number of appliances in your house. For example, if you have one AC, list it and
select the quantity in the next tab. Enter the load consumption of each appliance, adding them
one by one by selecting “Add Row.”

17. Upload Required Documents
Click on the browse button to upload scanned copies of the aforementioned documents.

18.Review and Agree
Reread the form and the terms and conditions for the MEPCO new connection request form,
then click the “I Agree” button. Enable the captcha by entering the numbers shown, and click
the “Submit” button.

How to Check MEPCO New Meter Connection Status

After applying for a new connection, you will receive a tracking number. This tracking number will allow you to check the status of your MEPCO new connection application.

  1. Access the ENC Portal
    Navigate to the ENC (Electricity New Connection) portal.

  2. Click on the “Track” Button

  3. Locate the “Track” button on the left side of the webpage. A form will appear with two options.

  1. Select Application Type
    Choose the first option to track your new connection application or the second option if you're monitoring a change of name, tariff, or load application.

  1. Input Details
    For tracking your new connection application, select MEPCO as the distribution company and enter your tracking ID.

  1. Enter Tracking Number
    Input the tracking number you received during your online application submission.

MEPCO Demand Notice

Upon submitting your new connection application, the MEPCO ENC team will review the entire process and proceed to completion. They will check the service line length, conductors, and other necessary equipment needed for the new meter connection installation. After assessment, a demand notice will be issued.

The status “Review completed” or “Pay Demand Notice Fee” will be displayed on your application tracking page. You can now download your demand notice voucher through the ENC portal.

How to Apply for MEPCO Demand Notice Online

1. Visit the ENC Portal
Go to the ENC portal.
2. Select “Print”

Click the “Print” button on the left side of the page.
3. Choose Application Type
In the form that appears, select the new connection option.
4. Enter Tracking Number
Provide your new connection application tracking number and click “Submit.”
5.Download or Print Demand Notice
A demand notice form will open, allowing you to either “Download” or “Print.” Review the form
and choose your preferred option.

Note: To expedite your application, pay the demand notice fee at your nearest bank.

How to Submit Demand Notice Online

After paying the MEPCO new connection fee, you can submit your demand notice application online. Make sure to have a scanned copy of the paid demand notice fee.

1. Visit the ENC Portal
Go to the ENC portal.
2. Select the “Upload” Option

Click on the “Upload” option as indicated.
3. Choose Application Type
Set the application type as a new connection.
4. Enter Tracking Number
Input your tracking number and click the submit button.
5.Upload Demand Notice
A window will prompt you to upload the scanned copy of the demand notice. Upload the file
and click the save button to submit your demand notice to MEPCO management.

Note: Upon timely payment and submission of the demand notice through the ENC portal, your new connection will be installed within 15 days according to official procedures.

The demand notice fees consist of fixed and variable charges. The variable charges depend on factors such as service line length, connection type (single-phase or three-phase), and location (Rural or Urban).
